It is a cement based, polymer additive, high-performence, fibre-reinforced plastering that is specifically designed for composite thermal insulation systems with TSEN 13499 ETICS certification.
— Interior and exterior areas — Used for adhesive bonding of thermal insulation boards (expanded polystyrene (EPS) and extruded polystyrene (XPS), polyurethane board, etc.)
— Easy to apply, provides perfect adhesive bonding — Resistant to water and frost— Resistant to temperature changes — Flexible— Provides high stability, no hanging or cracking — Enables water vapour diffusion — Paint can be applied on the product directly.
— Application surface and boards must be solid and free from such materials preventing the bonding as dust, oil, paint, silicon, curing agent, detergent, etc. — Boards to be plastered should be solid and well-setted and spaces between them should be covered with foam or the same materila.
— 25 kg. of Newkim Thermal Insulation Board Plastering Mixture-Fibre Reinforced is mixed with around 6-7 lt. of clear water prefeably with a lowration mixer or a trowel until there is no lump. — Prepared mixture is left to stand for around 3-5 mn. so that ageing occurs and then applied after being stirred. — The mixture within the pot should be used within 2 hours.
— At least 24 hours later than dowelling of thermal insulation boards, first coat is applied on boards with a thickness of around 2 mm by means of a trowel. — While the applied mixture is still wet, synthetic glass fibre mesh is buried into the mixture by being stretched top to bottom. Approximately 6 hours later, the surface is dampened and the mesh is covered with a second coat (with a thickness of 2 mm) and the surface is smoothed for paint application. — Wait for 2 to 3 days according to weather conditions and application thickness for painting. — After completion of the application, dampen the surface until the cement settles if the ambient temperature is high.
— 4-5 kg/m² ( Varies depending on the application method)
— Avoid using frozen products and those that are under the risk of freezing within 24 hours as well as in areas that are directly subjected to sun and wind. Ensure that there is no snowfall or excessive cold following the application until that the cement settles. (About 1 week)
In 25 kg. kraft bags.
It can be stored for 12 months on palettes provided that they are stacked tenfold in moisture-free spaces without being unpacked.
