Areas of Usage

Surface preparation
—  Attention to the application surface be completely cured.
—  Application surface must be solid and freed from antistick agents such as dust, oil, dye, silicon, curing agent, detergent etc.
—  Application surface must be moistened and stay wet.
Mortar preparation
— 25 kg of Newkim Mineral Wool Adhesive Mortar is added to approximately 6-7 liters of water and mixed preferably with low speed mixer or trowel with lumps disappearing.
— Prepared mortar is left for 3-5 minutes for maturing and used after remixing.
— Mortar in pot must be consumed within 2 hours.
Application information
— Depending on application surface flatness.
— Entire surface adhesion methodApply Newkim Mineral Wool Adhesive Mortar on entire insulating board with a trowel or appropriate notched trowel.
— Strip or spot applying Method- Apply Mineral Wool Board Adhesive Mortar in strips on all borders of insulating boards and in spots on middle areas with a trowel.
— Use a straightedge when adhering boards.
— Board adhered by using Newkim Mineral Wool Adhesive Mortar must be pressed firmly to provide proper adhesion and mounted with mechanical dowels in 24 hours.
Consumption
4-5 kg/m² (It may change depending on application method)
Warnings
— Avoid application when temperature is below +5°C and above 35°C.
— Avoid application in frozen areas or with risk of freezing or open to direct sunlight and wind effects.
— Fit insulating boards with as little voids as possible to prevent heat transfer.
— Be sure not to use boards solarized for a long time and lost its properties.
