Granite And Marble Adhesive

Cement based, mineral filled, polymer reinforced, granite, ceramic and marble adhesive. C2TE.
Properties
— Ideal for such cladding materials as ceramic, tile, porcelain and granite at 40x40 cm dimensions. For larger dimensions, two sided application is recommended.
Surface Preparation
— The surface must certainly be freed from mould oil, powder paint and other bond reducing agents. When needed, the application surface should be dampened with water. Before application on such moisture sensitive surfaces as gypsum plaster, plasterboard, appropriate Newkim undercoat (plaster, concrete undercoat) should be applied on the surface. After the milky appearance passes, you may proceed to the application.
Adhesive Preparation And Application
— The agitation vessel is first filled with water, and then granite and marble adhesive is added. (6-6,5 lt. of water/25 kg.-bag) the materials are mixed until granules are gone.
— Then the mixture is left to stand for 5 minutes before being agitated again.
— The prepared mortar is applied on the surface with a thickness of 3-15 mm. It is combed and the cperamic is bonded. In order to insure a good bonding, pressure should be applied on the surface with a rubber hammer.
Caution
Avoid using the product at templatures under +5°C or over +35°CAvoid using frozen products and those that are under the risk of freezing within 24 hours as well as in areas that are directly subjected to sun and wind.
Consumption
— 3-5 kg/m² (depending on the application method)
Packaging
In 25 kg. kraft bags.
Shelf Life
The product should be stocked in its original packaging with at most 10 of them one on another in a moisture free environment for a maximum duration of 8 months. After the opening of the packaging, the product should be used within 7 days.
