Grount Aggregate Surface Hardener

The special type of cement applied on the freshconcrete surfaces in monolithic way is thepowder surface hardener resistant to corrosionwhereas it consists of the higt quality groundaggregate performance enhancing chemicaladditives. It provides resistance against attrition,impact, dust emission and corrosion for the light,medium and heavy loads on concrete surfaces.
Areas Of Use
— It is used in indoors and outdoors, factories,business centers, commercial warehouses,garages, parking lots, basaments, mechanicalworkshops, power plants, shipyards, loadingdocks, subway stations, underground passages,parks, gardens, pedestrian ways, pavements andhelicopter-airplane fields.
Surface Preparation
— If the ground aggregate surface hardener is to beapplied on concrete, the C25 type of concretewith the minimum thickness of 7.5 cm must bepoured at first place. In order to increase theadherence between the old and new concreteand ensure adhesion, use the Newkim PVA multi-purpose mortar additive.
— The application concrete must be wet at the amount needed bythe ground aggregate surface hardener to receive moisture.
— The moisture level of surface is extremely important. If the surface is more wet than adequate, the ground aggregate surface hardener will vanish within the concrete and lose its efficiency.
— If the surface is more dry than adequate, then the product will not adhere to the surface anad the result will be negative.
Application Information
— In accordance with the ground sizes, the anoswith the width of 4-5 meters are placed as fulland empty one by one. The mesh steel is placedin required spaces and the evevation determination is completed.
— For the ideal dispersion of the ground aggregate surface hardener on the surface, the perfusion procedure must be performed in both sides of anos. The concrete is jigged after pouring whereas it is ensured to become harder by the vibrated jig application.
— As the concrete is set by means of holding footprint with the depth of 2-3 mm during step on, 2\3 of ground aggregate surface hardener is applied on the ground at an equal rate by spilling manually or the mechanical perfusion device.
—  It is waited for the product to gather moisture by abrorbing the concrete water and acquire a dark color. It is regarded for the color to be equal on every part of the ground. The material is rubbed in the ground by a wooden trowel and the integration is provided by this way. A certain amaunt of material is perfused in 8 cm lines on the edges of ano and dilatation joints under the heaviest loads and it is rubbed in by a wooden trowel. As it becomes hard by means of walking on the surface, it is polished by a steel trowel (copter). After pouring the concrete, the joint cuts must be performed 2- 3 days at latest.

Shelf Life
— Store in dry areas with maximum 10 coatingpiles. The shelf life is 12 months in the originalpackages within dry environment.
