Areas Of Use

Properties

Surface Preparation
— All kinds of substances such as mould oil, paint, dust and etc.
— Should be removed loose parts with low adherence, should be removed from the surface.
— The application shall be performed after damping the surface.
Preparing The Mortar
— Appropriate amont of water (4-5 lt. water 25kg bag.) is placed in a mixing bowl.
— The powder materila is added and mixed with a low-speed hand mixer.
— The mortar is left to settle for 5 minutes and then stirred until a homogeneous consistency is achieved.
Adhesive Preparation And Application
Surface Leveling:
— The prepared mortar is applied with a steel trowel.
— Surface finishing is applied with a steel trowel or sponge trifling.
— Aplication thickness is 3-5 mm.
— Thicker applications are applied in two coats.
— The second coat is applied after the first coat dries.
Repair Purpose:
— Plaster parts are removed. Shaped cross-section with the depth of approximately 5 mm is made along the crack.
— Filing is made with a mortar trowel is and the surface is coated with a trowel and when the filler is hardened.
Caution
— Never add foreign materilas to the prepared mortar. (Lime, cement, gypsum, etc.)
— The mortar should not be used by mixing with water or dry mortar if usage period thereof has expired.
— In terms of durability of the plaster, the application surface should be watered with specific intervals within 7 days after the time of application.
— It is recommended to make the application between a temperature range of +5°C / +35°C
— Newkim thick repair mortar should be protected against rapid drying windy weather.
— Do not apply on frozen surfaces.
— Do not apply on surfaces exposed to sun directly.
Consumption
— 1.5 kg/m² (for 1mm thickness)
Packaging
In 25 kg. kraft bags.
Shelf Life
— It is recommended to be consumed within 1 year from date of manufacture provided that they are stored in their original packaging by placing at most 8 sacks on top of another or within 1 week after the bag is opened.
— Kept tightly colsed when not in use if the packaging.
