Areas Of Use

Surface Preparation
— All kinds of dust, dirt, wood chips and construction and cement residues in the gaps should be scraped before application and brushed off.
— Joint space is moistened with water before application if necessary.
Preparing The Mortar
— Pour down 20 kg. of Newkim Silicon Added Grouting material morter into 7-7.5 lt. of water slowly and mix until you have a lump free mortar with a low speed mixer.
— Let the joint filler settle for 10 minites for maturation and mix again for 1-2 minites before starting the application.
— The mortar should be used with a hard rubber floor squeegee or hard rubber-based grout spreading trowel to fill the grouts.
— Each coat application should be performed firstly in parallel and then in perpendicular direction.
Adhesive Preparation And Application
— Colour joint filling should be filled with a hard rubber tipped floor squeegee or, or hard rubber-based grout spreading trowel into the grout joints. They have to be applied firstly parallel and then cross in order to fill thoroughly the grout joints.
— The excess mortar on the surface should be grazed wit a soft tipped spatula and after waitnig for 15-30 min. according to the ambient temperature it should be cleaned with a dampened sponge to ensure that the thin layer of joint remaining on the surface is thoroughly cleaned.
— The walls will dry after 24 hours, and the floor will be available for pedestrian traffic after 48 hours.
Caution
— Never add foreign materials to the prepared mortar (lime, cement, gypsum, etc.)
— The mortar should not be used by mixing with water or dry mortar if usage period thereof has expied.
— It is recommended to make the application between a temperature range of +5°C / +35°C.

In 20 kg. kraft bags.
Shelf Life
It can be stored for 12 months on palettes provided that they are stacked tenfold in moisture-free spaces without being unpacked.
