Cement Based Colored Grouting Material

Cement based, decorative, water-repellent grouting material resistant to elongation and shortening due to vibrations and temperature differences used for grout joints in ceramics, tile and granite.
Areas Of Use
— Indoors, vertical and horizontal applications, filling the grout joints of ceramic, marble and granite tiles glued to the eqisting surfaces in shopping malls commercial and industrial floors, hotel, hospital, wet areas and residences.

Surface Preparation
— It should be ensured that ceramics are firmly attached in order that they do not move during the application which denotes that the adhesive should be cmopletely dried.
— All kinds of dust, dirt, wood chips and construction and cement residues should be thoroughly cleaned with a thin rod or brush in surfaces where looring process is not completed.
— The cleaned cavities should be dampened with a damp sponge.
Consumption

Preparing The Mortar
— Pour down 20 kg. of Newkim Colored Joint Filler into 5.5-6.5 lt. of water slowly and mix until you have a lump free mortar with a low speed mixer.
— Let the joint filler with deep consistency settle for 5-10 minutes for maturation and mix again before starting the application.
— Mixture in the container should be consumed within appoximately 1 hour.
Adhesive Preparation And Application
— Colour joint filling should be filled with a hard rubber tipped floor squeegee or, or hard rubber-based grout spreading trowel into the grout joints. They have to be applied firstly parallel and then cross in order to fill thoroughly the grout joints.
— The excess mortar on the surface should be grazed wit a soft tipped spatula and after waitnig for 15-30 min. according to the ambient temperature it should be cleaned with a dampened sponge to ensure that the thin layer of joint remaining on the surface is thoroughly cleaned.
— The walls will dry after 24 hours, and the floor will be available for pedestrian traffic after 48 hours.
Caution
— Avoid using the product at templatures under +5°C or over +35°C
— Avoid using frozen products and those that are under the risk of freezing within 24 hours as well as in areas that are directly subjected to sun and wind.
Packaging
In 20 kg. kraft bags.
Shelf Life
It can be stored for 12 months on palettes provided that they are stacked tenfold in moisture-free spaces without being unpacked.
